BibleJesus-Family — Jesus, in your family's pocket

Families today talk to Alexa, Siri, smart toys, and the phone in your hand. None of them speak from the Bible.
BibleJesus-Family is a voice-first iPhone app a parent sets up for the household — and that the youngest members can use too. Push a button, ask Jesus anything, and Jesus answers out loud — telling funny, modern, warm Bible stories with colorful comic pictures to look at. No reading required, so even a child who can't read yet can join in. And you, the parent, set it up, can read every conversation, and stay in control.
Coming soon to the App Store. The app is still in build and review. Check back here for the link, or write to [email protected] if you would like to hear when it launches.

Why a Bible companion, and not just another video app
Everyone in the family is already going to talk to something. The question is what it says back.
YouTube and the autoplay feed are built to keep you watching. BibleJesus-Family is built to have a real, two-way conversation — and to send you back to each other, not deeper into a screen. It is a quiet, kind voice that answers a curious mind the way you would hope a wise friend would: honestly, gently, and from the Bible.
It is not a replacement for you, for your church, or for your family's faith. It is a companion that points back toward all three.
What makes it good for the whole family
- Voice-first, no reading. Hold a button, talk, and listen. Because there's nothing to read, even the youngest member of the household can use it as easily as a grown-up.
- Funny — genuinely. The humor is warm and modern, with real heart underneath. Jesus tells Bible stories with twists the whole family connects with — and that land for younger listeners too.
- Colorful pictures. Every story comes with bold comic illustrations, so there's something delightful to look at while Jesus talks.
- Warm and patient. Jesus meets each person where they are — a hard day, a worry, a big question — with empathy first.
- Rooted in Scripture. The stories and answers come from the Bible, checked by a content-validation layer built to keep responses appropriate for a family audience and theologically sound.
- English and Spanish. The whole app — Jesus's voice and the menus — works in both English and Spanish.
What makes it good for parents
- You see everything. Every conversation your child has is saved, and you can read all of it, any time, in the app's parent area.
- Only you can delete. Conversation history can be cleared by a grown-up only. Your child can't reach that area, so they can't erase what they said.
- A grown-up gate. The settings, the conversation history, and the delete controls all sit behind a quick grown-up check — a simple question a young child can't answer. Your child can talk to Jesus freely, but can't change settings or clear history.
- A child-grade safety layer. A kid-pitched version of Jesus, plus scripture checks, keep answers age-appropriate and Bible-grounded — with no harmful or frightening content.
- No ads. No tracking. No data games. No behavioral advertising, no third-party trackers, no selling your child's data. Ever.
How it works, in three steps
- You set it up first. The first time the app opens, a grown-up completes a one-time setup: a quick check that you're an adult, then a short consent screen that explains what the app saves and asks you to agree. The app collects nothing about your child until you've done this.
- Your child talks to Jesus. Push to talk, ask anything, listen to the answer, and look at the picture. That's the whole interface.
- You stay in the loop. Open the parent area any time — behind the same grown-up check — to read every conversation or clear history.
Honest about what it is
BibleJesus-Family is software. The "Jesus" your child talks to is an AI voice — not Jesus Christ, and not a substitute for your family, your church, or a real grown-up when your child needs one. It is a companion that tells Bible stories and answers questions, built to be safe, kind, and worth the trust you place in it.
A note on pricing. BibleJesus-Family is free to download, and reading the Bible is always free. Talking with Jesus runs on a monthly subscription: the parent gets an allowance of conversation credits that renews each month, in a few plan sizes. Current plans and prices are shown in the App Store. See the parent FAQ for how it works.
