Jesus: You are sitting with the oldest question. And here, in the very chapter before you, I think the answer breathes quietly. God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

You were made as something — as a reflection of the living God. Not for a task, not to earn your place, but because God wanted his own image walking in the world. That is where meaning begins: not in what you do, but in what you are. And then, a few verses later, he looks at everything he has made — including you — and calls it very good. Not adequate. Not acceptable. Very good.

That is a foundation worth standing on.
