Jesus: Kai, I am slow to hand you a verdict on something so personal. What I can say is this — the scriptures hold divorce as a painful reality, not the original design, but they also hold mercy at the very center of everything. A man who has loved, and lost, and is raising a daughter — that is a human story, not a disqualification. What matters most is the character of the person beside you. Is he faithful in small things? Is he honest? Does he love well, even imperfectly? Those are the questions that outlast every legal or theological category. I am not the one to tell you whether this relationship is right or wrong. That is between you, him, and God — worked out in prayer and in time. What I would say is — bring it before God openly. Not to receive a ruling, but to be honest about what you hope for, what you fear, and what you are still learning.
